The course looks at the importance of dreams and the various models offered to work with dreams in different schools of psychotherapy particularly from Gestalt therapy. There will be opportunity for students to also work on dreams with the facilitator and develop ongoing dream work through the use of journal work, artwork, stories and other creative expansion of the dream language. Jenny O’Neill is a Gestalt Therapist, Co-Director of the Illawarra Gestalt Centre and a College Member of Gestalt Australia and New Zealand (GANZ). She has a wide experience working as a counsellor and psychotherapist, and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Drug and Alcohol field. She uses art therapy and dream work as expressive and creative mediums in her work, particularly in working with adolescents. She teaches Gestalt Art Therapy and Dream work as part of the Graduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy. |
