This is a group open to those who have reached a stage where spiritual development, which is in the ground of most therapy, has become important. The group is a vehicle to support our spiritual development collectively – in community – and be open to creative expression such as Sufi stories, music and poetry. This is also a space to explore how you bring spirituality into your life, your practice, your relationships or your work as a therapist with others.

There is no charge for the group.

My role is as a facilitator and I provide articles of interest, offer a range of spiritual texts for people to peruse and get acquainted with, and help the group facilitate its own sense of self and direction. We share our stories, our readings, and our sense of lived spirituality.

The group provides a supportive space for people to explore their spirituality and how they apply their spiritual beliefs in their life. The group is on Saturdays from 10am to 12.30 midday and continues on a monthly ongoing basis.

It is supported by an email list and interactive web page creating an internet community.  Email Brian to join— boneill@uow.edu.au

“There is a great need in contemporary society to rediscover the ‘holy’.  The holy does not refer to any specific religious belief, but rather to an opening-out to that which is beyond us. It is the repression of the holy, the out-of-touch ness with the holy, that has helped create such a dangerous state of affairs in the world today.”
