This group and email list is a place for people to discover and support the differences and similarities in our spiritual life,  and provide support for how we manifest our spiritual beliefs into a useful life, and in our work as therapists. There is no charge for this group.

Text Box: Art Therapy Training— 10/11/12 August

The training workshop presents a clear practical approach to working with dreams for  therapists and counselors or people interested in dream work for personal development. Like Art Therapy, this approach to personal work  is similarly of use to those working with children and adolescents.

Working with Dreams

Frontline workers in both the public and private sectors today face a wider range of clients with challenging problems. Typically the client has multiple diagnoses in mental health and substance abuse and a significant history of abuse, neglect and social upheaval. This workshop will focus on traditional clinical approaches to assessment and treatment working with major disorders, whilst acknowledging vicarious trauma and the role of self awareness and personal development.

Practical Skills in Clinical Practice

This training program is both for people working as supervisors currently and those who wish to develop this as a skill. The course will integrate theory, skill and practice in supervision and outline  major traditional models of supervision. There will be an additional focus of using a holographic model of supervision as developed at the Illawarra Gestalt Centre.
